<span style="background-color: #f6f6ec; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">One of the best things you can do for your relationship is to throw away your smartphone. Do it right now. Chuck it off a pier into the ocean. If you’re not quite that brave, just shut it off and stick it away somewhere in a drawer. You don’t need it, and it can actually harm your relationship if you aren’t careful.

<span style="background-color: #f6f6ec; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">Why? Because social media, which is the main thing people use their phones to access, is a distraction from reality.

<span style="background-color: #f6f6ec; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">Everyone’s heard the jokes about a couple dining at a restaurant while they both update their social media profiles and take pictures of themselves and their food, paying absolutely no attention to each other.

<span style="background-color: #f6f6ec; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">That’s a funny story when it’s somebody else. But when it’s you ignoring your partner and your relationship, it’s not funny. It’s tragic. And it’s quite true – people do it in restaurants and I’ve seen couples walking down the street looking at their phones rather than talking to each other. Studies show that ignoring your partner is a big factor leading to breakups.

<span style="background-color: #f6f6ec; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">Do you know why it’s illegal to drive and text? Let me tell you – because if you aren’t paying attention to your driving, you can crash and die, and/or kill other people in the process. If you aren’t paying attention to your relationship, you can also lose control and kill it pretty quickly.
Connecting With a Human Being in the Present

<span style="background-color: #f6f6ec; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">Love and relationships are about connecting with another human being in the present moment. The way you connect with your partner is to pay attention to them, to look directly into their eyes, to hold hands, to touch each other, to make each other laugh.

<span style="background-color: #f6f6ec; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">If you would rather be checking your phone to see who’s texted you, or what your online friends are doing, then what’s the point? How are you connecting more deeply with your partner by checking your phone all the time?

<span style="background-color: #f6f6ec; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">Love is a chemical thing, as any scientist will tell you. Why are we attracted to another human being? Partly because of their physical features, which we find attractive. Partly because of their personality, the way they talk or laugh. And partly because of a chemical connection – how they smell.

<span style="background-color: #f6f6ec; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">Though we aren’t consciously aware of it, much of our attraction to and bonding with another person is based on subtle scents. That connection can’t happen very easily via the Internet.

What Has Social Media Done for You?

<span style="background-color: #f6f6ec; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">Sit down and ask yourself – on paper – What has social media ever done for me? Write down your answer. Make a list of all the improvements in your life and in your relationship that using social media has improved.

<span style="background-color: #f6f6ec; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">There are some legitimate advantages social media can confer, particularly to grandparents, who wish to share photos of their beautiful, handsome, adorable, talented grandchildren with friends near and far. That’s not a problem.

<span style="background-color: #f6f6ec; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">Online dating can also be a legitimate and helpful use of social media. If you live in an isolated area and have trouble meeting many people, the Internet and social media can help you find someone to date. Of course, there are many better ways to meet quality people, and the best of them are the tried and true old ways – getting out and having fun and living your life while interacting with fun people.

<span style="background-color: #f6f6ec; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">That means joining a club or taking a class that throws you together with other people in a fun environment.

<span style="background-color: #f6f6ec; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">Social media can also help you network and connect with others when you need to find a job. I have no problem with that at all. But do it during work hours, and be clear when defining those hours.

<span style="background-color: #f6f6ec; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">Certainly, if you’re spending the season at an Antarctic research base, where your social group is similar to that of a mission to Mars, social media can be a real lifesaver, reminding you that the dozen scientists you work with and see day after day after day after day and who bathe just once a week aren’t the only human beings in the universe.

<span style="background-color: #f6f6ec; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">Then I say, fire up that social media app! But if you live in a community of other people, like most of us do, get out and actually see and meet and talk to some of those other human beings.

Life After Love: No Social Media, Please!

<span style="background-color: #f6f6ec; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">But however you find love, once you’re in a relationship, it’s time to shut down social media. Spend time with your partner, looking in their eyes, holding their hand, resting with your head in their lap on the couch, spooning with them in bed.

<span style="background-color: #f6f6ec; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">Cook your dinner together. Take a walk around the neighbourhood. Go for a drive or a bike ride. Swim together at the local pool.

<span style="background-color: #f6f6ec; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">Make a commitment to shut off your phone whenever you don’t really need it – and that means in the evening and at night when you should be paying attention to the person right in front of you rather than jumping every time a “status update” alert pings from your phone.

<span style="background-color: #f6f6ec; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">Otherwise, the message you are sending your partner is a powerful one – Other people matter more to me than you do.

<span style="background-color: #f6f6ec; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">You may not think that’s the message you’re sending. You may think you’re giving off the impression of being a happy, friendly person who is well connected. You may think you’re showing that you’ve got lots and lots of friends, that other people are really interested in your life, and that you are interested in theirs.

<span style="background-color: #f6f6ec; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">But the truth is, you’re ignoring your partner much of the time, and that’s not attractive, that’s not kind.

<span style="background-color: #f6f6ec; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">Time to stop bragging or complaining about your life via social media. Time to start living your life– with your partner – instead.
Have you ever wondered what nationality is given to a baby born on a plane? If a baby is born on Delta Airlines to a Nigerian mother and a French father over Senegalese airspace, and an emergency landing is made in Mauritania, what will her citizenship be?

This is a pretty fascinating issue to research. Most people are born on land, in an area that is clearly spelled out within the borders of a country. But what happens to the few people who are born on an international flight or ship? Let's dig in!

In the story, there are 4 factors that come to play: the nationality(ies) of the parents (French & Nigerian), the airspace they are flying over (Senegalese), the country where the plane is registered (USA) and the first point of landing after the child is born (Mauritanian).

1st Factor - Blood Right!

As soon as the child is born, she is automatically a French and a Nigerian citizen. Most countries (if not all) will grant citizenship to a child if at least one parent is a citizen of that country. This is known as jus sanguinis (right of blood).

Note that in some countries, the child does not automatically inherit the citizenship of her mother, if it is different from the citizenship of her father. In such countries, the mother's nationality is only given automatically if the father is unknown or is stateless.

2nd Factor - Birth Right!

At the time of the child's birth, the airspace over which they were flying could come into play, but only if the country offers automatic citizenship to those who were born in its territories (jus soli - the right of the soil).

Sometimes, jus soli is unconditional. Other times, it is conditional on residence requirements. So, it means that a child born over the airspace or within the territorial waters of a country with unconditional jus soli can be granted citizenship of that country.

Unfortunately, in our story, Senegal does not offer unrestricted jus soli which means that the child does not automatically qualify for Senegalese citizenship by being born within the country's airspace.

Fun Fact:
The USA and Canada are the only two countries in the so-called "developed world" that still offer citizenship to anyone who was born there, whether your parents are legal aliens, citizens, illegal immigrants or residents.

3rd Factor - Citizenship of the Plane!

Since the child was born on a Delta plane, the aircraft is likely registered in the USA. This technically means that the child was born in US territory - as the laws of the US apply on its planes. But there's a catch...

However, it is rare for countries to extend citizenship to a child simply because she was born on a plane registered in that country. The exception: if the child is born to stateless parents and does not have the option of taking the citizenship(s) of her parent(s).

4th Factor - First Point of Landing!

When a child is born on a plane, there is often an emergency landing because newborn babies are really not supposed to be flying. So, in our story, the plane had to land in Mauritania. Can the child get Mauritanian citizenship? Hmm...

This one is the rarest of them all but it is not impossible for a country to grant a baby citizenship if the first place she landed after birth was in that country. It will be granted on a case by case basis.

Plural Citizenship - It is important to note which countries allow dual or plural citizenship and which do not. Believe it or not, there are some countries that forbid dual citizenship so even if a child was technical, they will have to choose one and forfeit the other.

So, our sweet baby will be Nigerian & French. Live your best life, girl! The world belongs to you. I hope you grow up to become a geographer in thought and then shine light through whatever profession you choose.

Experts in international law, over to you.
<span style="background-color: #f6f6ec; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">Getting a notice of house rent increment from your landlord is obviously one of the worst ways to start a day. As a matter of fact, you will be so frustrating that you tend to transfer aggression on anybody. God save madam if she dares ask of money that day.

<span style="background-color: #f6f6ec; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">Sadly, this is the reality people are facing in Nigeria today. As you read this article, someone just got a house rent increment notice. The most painful part of this is the fact that most people don’t have a clue about what to do when they receive this notice.

<span style="background-color: #f6f6ec; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">Therefore, in this article, you will learn the 3 things to do when landlord increases your house rent.

Things To Do When Landlord Increases Your House Rent

#1. Tell The Landlord To Give You Time To Think About It

<span style="background-color: #f6f6ec; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">One of the things to do when landlord increases your house rent is to request for time to think

Okro, also known as the "ladies finger"
is a flowering plant in the mallow family. it is very nutritious as it
is highly rich in carbohydrate, vitamins, water, and protein.

"

Okra and okra seeds contain trace amounts of
gossypol, a polyphenolic aldehyde with male
contraceptive properties that is also found in higher
concentrations in cottonseed. The amounts present
in okra seeds are too low to have any noticeable
effect even if you ate an enormous amount in one
sitting.

Concentrated gossypol tablets have been tested as a
male contraceptive but generally found to be too
dangerous. There isn't a big difference between the
dosage of gossypol required for temporary
contraception and dosages that cause permanant
sterility, potassium deficiency, and paralysis- and it
would be impossible to regulate this dosage if you're
eating unprocessed seeds.
In short, okra seeds are not an effective, safe or
reliable method of contraception. "

Although,
it is very nutritious, studies have shown that it may be dangerous to
men as it can cause infertilty. Okro has aunique substance called
"GOSSYPOL". Gossypol inhibits sperm production and motility by blocking
several enzymews that are highly important in energy metabolism in
sperm and sperm producing cells.

Gossypol has been used as a
male contraceptive for years in china. some clinical research were
conducted in regards the effectiveness of gossypol as a contraceptive in
1986 and 1990 in china and Brazil respectively. The studies showed that
gossypol lowered the number and motility of sperms and made small
percentage of men infertile permanently.

Gossypol may also cause
menstrual irregularity in women. it has also been linked to hypokalemia
and also damage to red blood cells leading to heamolytic anaemia.

Conclusively, Okro in higher amount is not recommended in people with following conditions:

Anaemic people
athletes
Infertile men undergoing medical investigation and treatment.
women who complains of irregular menses.

If you are a movie lover then this post is definitely for you. Most of
us, both the movie freaks and those who watch movies once in a while
always love to get the latest movie. Although the easiest way to watch
the movie of your choice is by visiting the cinema but not all of us can
afford it and even some who can afford it might probably be too busy..

So
in this post, I will show you guys two different methods to easily
download any movie of your choice. This methods are easy, fast and you
also don't have to worry about any ad whatsoever.

Method 1:
=> Launch your browser and open Google.com.
=> Copy and paste this codes in your search bar

Movie Name -inurlhtm|html|php|pls|txt) intitle:index.of “last modified” (mp4|wma|aac|avi)

=> Replace "movie name" with the name of the movie you want to download.
For example:

IP man -inurlhtm|html|php|pls|txt) intitle:index.of “last modified” (mp4|wma|aac|avi).

=>
From the search results that appears, just select one of the first sets
and the movie link should be indexed in one of them.
=> Just click on the movie and download.
That's all!

Method 2: This particular method is probably a bit easier than the one above, although both of them are very similar.
=> Type Google.com in your address bar and open .
=> Copy and paste the code below in the search bar and add the name of any movie you want to download after it.

intitle:index.of? mkv Avengers

For example:

intitle:index.of? game of Thrones

=> Just click on search and open any of the First set of results that appears.
=> Scroll until you find the movie you want to download and click on it to Start the download.

So I have listed two different methods to make searching the internet for movie links a lot more easier.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12250536258546950434noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4664929053639492328.post-15947858863429619592016-09-13T12:19:00.000+01:002016-09-13T16:29:29.842+01:00My Neighbours Ate Sallah Ram Meat Without Inviting Me- Angry Nigerian A young Nigerian man lost his mind today after he saw his Muslim

An Anambra born Nollywood star, Mr.
Ifeanyi Azodo, has been arrested by the police in Onitsha for an alleged
robbery. The Area Commander of Onistha Police Area Command, Abubarkar
Yahaya, confirmed Azodo’s arrest to journalists in his office.

He
said: “There was a case against him and we just invited him to make
statement and we released him on bail because it is a ‘bailable’
offence. “If you want details of the matter, then go to the state Police
Public Relations Officer (PPRO).

Don’t quote me wrong, I said we
had a case reported against him and we invited him for questioning and
along the line we found out that he took laws into his hands and in the
course of our investigation we found him wanting. “However, we have
recovered about 80 per cent of the missing items in relation with the
matter and investigation is still ongoing.” Asked when police would
arraign Azodo, the area commander said that would depend on the outcome
of investigation.

He added: “I said we are still investigating
the matter. It is the conclusion of the investigation that will
determine the next line of action.” A top police officer, however, told
our correspondent that owner of a hotel in Ontsha reported the case of
robbery against
Azodo.

According to investigation, Azodo invited a
30-yearold man into the hotel. During their discussion, there arose a
misunderstanding between them which attracted the hotel management which
invited the police. The man, who gave his name simply as Stephen, did
not speak on the cause of the argument.

He, however, gave his
phone number and said he would not want to say anything about the matter
until after the police concluded their investigation. When contacted
through a text message, Azodo replied: “Ya bro got ur message. Will call
u once am done shooting.”

However, Azodo did not call at press
time. The PPRO, ASP Nkiru Nwode, confirmed Azodo’s arrest. Nwode said
that it was a case of robbery and not homosexual as being rumoured in
some quarters. “Yes there was a case of robbery reported against him. I
did not see it as a homosexual; it was a case of robbery,” the PPRO

Obasanjo and othersComedian Ali Baba shared the photo below showing some of his pet dogs
and revealed that he named them after different world leaders (Both past
& present). Ali Baba claims that former Nigerian President
Obasanjo, was aware and impressed that he had a dog named after him. This reminds me of the man who named his Dog after Pres. Buhari and is presently in Police Custody ......

My dogs and I back in the day.
Must have had like 12 at a particular point in time. Interesting time.
That time I mean. I had traveled and returned at night, but was too
tired to relate with them. OBJ, the big Alsatian was the head of the
pack. Then Obama was the big black and white Great Dane, the Alsatian on
the bummer was Thatcher. Thatcher must have given me like 18 puppies.
In her good days (X120k per puppy) the ridge back by Thatcher was called
Madiba. It arrived from South Africa on the birthday of Mandela

The Second Harlequin Great Dane was named after Queen Amina... But the
fiercest of my odds were Chaka, IBB AND Abacha. They took no prisoners.
In fact, if I gave you anything I had used before, like shoes or
clothes,my advice is not to wear them to my home. Because if Chaka, or
Abacha caught a whiff of that item on you... You will not like yourself.
They were my trusted securities and my friend. One time in LEKKI, 1997
or so, a guy scaled the fence into my compound in the night. I was woken
up to a shouts of "Oga come o!!!!!"

"Oga I am finished!" And
Usman my maiguard was having a good laugh. At 2am! The petty thief was
on the roof of my V-Boot. I was more scared for his life than he was of
it. Because then we had Chaka, Ghadaffi and Clinton. Those who new these
dogs will testify to their brutality. Go ask@basorge_tariah
and@officialbunmidavies... But with hind sight now, I am just thanking
God. Yes oooo! O have to thank God ooo. That it was not now, that I
named my dogs after any sitting president and foreign leaders. In fact,
Obasanjo himself was very impressed years later when his friend that
brought me a gift from Baba, told him how a dog called OBJ in Ali Baba's
house nearly killed him. Baba used to warn my wife then, that if she
ever decided to have a dog meal, she should not touch OBJ... But then
again, OBJ had a different kind of personality and a high sense of
humor. Everyone can not be the same. So I understand. An that is all I
have to say.

i had slept all through the afternoon, observing my long forbidden tradition, as i had planned on surfing the net that night..unknown to me, MTN had something else in store for me.
500mb for 25naira only that was too attractive to resist, so i dialed "*406#" and also sent "Night" to "131"
i couldn't wait until 12:00am to start flexing my subscription
After connecting my modem to the internet, i started blazing at an amazing speeds(1Mb/s)

... Fast Forward (ffw) to 5Minutes Later....i noticed a reduction in speed until it suddenly stopped connecting.

i noticed my airtime had been deducted for the period i surfed the net...and From my #200 i had been #0.0 left.
MTN had not deducted the #25 as supposed, and i had used up my airtime balance thinking the subscription went through ....My Fault
So When Next you plan on subscribing for an internet plan, make sure you get a confirmation that the subscription went through or you notice a reduction / Deduction in your airtime Balance
anyways since i couldn't browse i had to make do with Watching Movies....
What Are your Best Movies so far????? Tell me so i can watch and if Possible Write A Review!!! or YOU COULD WRITE A REVIEW About IT

NB: i got a text from MTN About, Low credit/ AIRTIME BALANCE @ 5am this morning........lol
Read between the lines....That"s How to subscribe for Mtn night browsing and you can only subscribe once a day!!!!!
in states that the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has governed
since the return of civil rule in 1999.

Results monitored by
LEADERSHIP SUNDAY’s correspondents indicated that Benue, Niger, Jigawa
and Katsina have fallen to the winning streak of the All Progressives
Congress (APC), whose candidate, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, won the March 28
presidential election against the incumbent, President Goodluck
Jonathan of the PDP.

APC also won 65 out of the 109 seats in the Senate and majority seats in the House of Representatives.

In
yesterday’s state houses of assembly and governorship elections, a
similar pattern of the “historic change” was seen in the states hitherto
considered PDP strongholds.

Although final figures are still
being compiled by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC),
our correspondents reported that the APC was “progressively leading” in
most of the polling units monitored.

In Niger State, the APC
candidate, Abubakar Bello, was jubilant and excited members of the party
were seen celebrating across the state’s 25 local government areas.

In
Benue, the successes of Senators Barnabas Gemade and George Akume in
the National Assembly election also rubbed off on the APC candidate for
the state, Samuel Ortom.

Ortom resigned from the cabinet of
President Goodluck Jonathan to contest the state’s number one job. He
was maintaining a comfortable lead in 18 of the 23 local governments at
press time.

At the Government House polling unit, Ortom scored 145 votes to beat his PDP opponent, Terhemen Tarzoor, who polled 119 votes.

Also at Annunne Market Square Polling Unit in Tarka local government area, the APC polled 324 votes to PDP’s 14 votes.

However,
Tarzoor is said to have polled a total of 152 votes at the Ankpa Ward
Polling Unit, an area where he grew up, to Ortom’s 150 votes.

Contrary
to expectations that PDP’s Jimi Agbaje backed by the non-natives of
Lagos State will replace Governor Babatunde Fashola of Lagos State, the
APC candidate, Akinwunmi Ambode is conveniently coasting home to
victory.

Results from the polling units indicated that Agbaje
scored higher in Igbo-dominated communities like Amuwo Odofin and
Oshodi/Isolo, but he lost by win margins in most polling units of Lagos
East Senatorial District and Alimosho which have the largest populations
in the state. Ambode was said to be in firm control of at least 15 of
the 20 local government areas of the state.

Plateau also surprisingly favoured APC from the unit-by-unit analysis.

In
Imo State, Governor Rochas Okorocha also cast off the state-sponsored
rigging of the presidential election against his party, the APC, in the
state to launch into an early lead, ahead of closest rivals, Emeka
Ihedioha (PDP) and Capt. Emmanuel Iheanacho (APGA).

Also, Kaduna
State, which had been ruled by PDP for 16 years, had Malam Nasir
el-Rufai of the APC ahead of the incumbent governor, Mukhtar Yero, who
hinted that things might not work his way.

Shortly after
accreditation in Zaria, yesterday, Yero told his supporters and the
entire people of state to accept the outcome of the election, whichever
way it went.

Similarly, in Katsina, former speaker, House of
Representatives and candidate of the APC, Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari
appeared to cut short the winning streak of the PDP in the state since
1999.

President-elect Buhari was in Katsina on Thursday to attend
the final rally for APC’s governorship and state House of Assembly
candidates in Saturday’s elections, and he pleaded with the people of
his home state to vote for his party’s candidates.

Jigawa has
also returned to the APC fold with results indicating that a majority of
the House of Assembly seats as well as that of the governor went to
APC. The state was governed by the All Nigeria People Party (ANPP)
before the PDP took it over in 2007.

A similar situation is
also playing out in Kebbi State as the APC governorship candidate,
Senator Atiku Bagudu, is coasting home to victory and leading the PDP
candidate Gen Sarkin Yaki Bello, in most of the local government areas
of the state.

http://leadership.ng/news/425022/apc-consolidates-position-as-ruling-partyAnonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12250536258546950434noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4664929053639492328.post-55978562417045790632015-04-12T01:11:00.003+01:002015-04-12T01:11:39.652+01:00How Guys Stylishly Romance LadiesSome guys can't control their sexual urge which somehow they use stylish ways to romance ladies in order to get satisfied.

Therefore, the places they stylishly romance ladies are;

1. In a commercial bus

This

More and more men are finding it hard to produce these days.

It is not that they are not sweating enough, or that they are "unhealthy", but something is wrong.

Though other factors contribute, damaged sperm is a major reason for many a couple's infertility issues.

In many cases, the man's weapon may be the reason for losing the childbearing war...

Researchers have shown that a man’s lifestyle can affect the quality and quantity of his sperm, hence fertility issues.

Anyway, here are some ways men unwittingly cause the damage:

Always carrying a phone in the front pocket. Studies have shown that there is the radiation a mobile phone emits so close to the scrotal area causes as much a 9% drop in live sperm per Fluid sample. So it better to hold the phone or carry it in a case or, at worse, the back pocket.

Leaving stress unattended to. A man who is always stressed, maybe due to overworking, is inadvertently killing his swimmers. Every body function, including sperm production, is affected by stress. Researchers found out that men with anxiety issues tend to have abnormally shaped sperm and sperm with mobility issues. Now, an immobile sperm is useless because they have to swim far to marry an egg fr conception.

Drinking too much. Alcohol is a big enemy of sperm. In fact, the British Medical Journal suggests that having as little as five drinks (alcohol) weekly can 'adversely affect' to Fluid quality.

Smoking too much. Blowing the smoke always has a negative impact on sperm quality. However, a researcher says, once a man quits, his system immediately starts generating healthier sperm.

Piling up extra weight. Being fit has a lot of advantages. Being fat lowers sperm production and can cause erectile dysfunction (ED) or impotence? Losing just a little amount of weight can help.

Staying too much in hot areas. Being exposed to too much heat regularly has dire consequences for a man's sperm. A welder for example might be at risk. A man's genital region needs to be cooler than the other parts of the body, not hotter.

If you have hopes of getting a child in the future, now might be a time to be conscious of your lifestyle, instead of worrying later.

Alcohol, fat, smoking, stress and all the other factors must be monitored.
